1. Overview These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MeepMeep mobile app, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. User Types & Roles The Service may be used by:

• Caretaker: A person entering information on behalf of another individual (e.g., patient, family member, senior, dependent).
• Patient / Subject of Data: The individual whose information is being entered.
• Authorized Partner: Third-party organizations (e.g., Trillium) that support the operation of the Service.

3. Entering Information on Behalf of Another Person If you enter information about another individual, you confirm that:

• You are legally authorized to do so (e.g., Power of Attorney, caregiver consent, legal guardian, etc.).
• You have informed them (or their legal decision-maker) how their data will be used.
• You accept full responsibility for the accuracy and legality of the information you submit.

We rely entirely on your representation of authority and do not independently verify identity, consent, or capacity.

4. Purpose of the Service The Service is intended to support caretakers in tracking, storing, and retrieving information about a person in their care. It is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, clinical decision making, or emergency response.

5. Data Residency & Processing

• All data is stored on secure servers located in Canada.
• Data may be processed by authorized partners solely for operational purposes.
• We do not sell personal data or allow advertising use.

6. Acceptable Use You agree not to:

• Upload false, unauthorized, or unlawful information
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the Service
• Enter data without legal authority to do so

7. Beta / POC Disclaimer The Service is still in development and may contain bugs, outages, incomplete features, or data loss. You agree to use it at your own risk.

We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from use of the Service, including loss of data.

8. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
• You may request data deletion at any time.

9. Modifications We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
